Has 15 years clinical experience and 7 years post graduate teaching experience. This experience consists of Australian and international experience. He has been working in the field of OHS/WHS since 2006. He currently co – owns Corporate Work Health Australia Pty Ltd which consults in the OHS/WHS field. Currently owns a large osteopathy practice located in Melbourne CBD.

Vehicle (Car) Ergonomic Risk Assessment & Training For Allied Health Professionals
Learning Objectives:
- Review hazards and risks associated with vehicle use (driving and manual handling in/out of the vehicle).
- Reviewing typical driving postures and habits that may increase ones risk of developing musculoskeletal complaints
- Review the step by step process to setting up an individual within a vehicle to improve ones comfort and support.
- Vehicle storage and manual handling best practices
- Undertaking a basic vehicle ergonomic risk assessment
- Note: This course will be combination of both theory and practical application. Attendees will be encouraged to drive their vehicle to the seminar so that we can apply knowledge in a practical scenario.

This 60 – 120 minute professional development seminar has been developed for the Physiotherapy / osteopathic / chiropractic / exercise physiology / myotherapy clinic looking to enhance their practitioners understanding of workstation hazards and risks so that they are better equipped to provide their clients with solutions and strategies to reduce their risk of developing musculoskeletal strains and sprains.
We can customize the course to include office workstation or vehicle ergonomic or manual handling in the workplace setting.
Learning Objectives:
- Review the workers and workplace duty of care with regards to workplace and vehicle ergonomics
- Review the musculoskeletal risk factors in an office setting and vehicle use.
- Step by step process to improve your clients workplace ergonomics
- Discuss common strategies and tips to improve activity in the workplace and reduce ones risk of developing musculoskeletal strains and sprains in the workplace.
- Discuss and problem solve common workstation or vehicle ergonomic issues you have experienced with your clients
