WorkCover injuries | Return to work clinic

Our goal is to return workers to their pre-injury role with their pre-injury employer, pain free and moving well.

WorkCover injury Physiotherapy treatment on the Gold Coast.

WorkCover approved return to work Physiotherapy clinic.

About our Physiotherapy return to work clinic:

Our Senior Physiotherapist Wade has worked in the Occupational Physiotherapy field for the last 15 years. Using this knowledge and experience we have designed specific return to work assessments and treatment services to get you back to work quicker, and keep you there once you return.

We understand that work injuries are not typical sports medicine injuries. They require specific (work focussed) assessments and treatment. They also require great communication and case management involving the worker, the doctor, the employer and the theapist themselves.

How this is different to standard Physiotherapy:

Discussion of your work injury and how it happened

Detailed explanation of the WorkCover process

Discussion of the job demands of your role (what do you need to be able to do to return to your job)

Establishing return to work goals and time frames

Assessment of your injury AND your current work capacity

Regular communication with your doctor to ensure suitable treatment is provided

Treatment to help your pain AND ensure you can complete the main tasks needed in your job role

Regular re-assessment of your work specific lifting, carrying and bending capacity
